Lucius, the last orphan of fallen Seleucia, infiltrates a Roman legion. On a full-moon night, his blood unexpectedly suppresses Crown Prince Tiberius’s beast-curse, and he is conscripted as the prince’s personal guard. From suspicion and testing to protecting each other in life and death, they hunt the truth behind the curse—and discover Lucius is the final royal heir of Seleucia. In the end, the two bloodlines join forces against the Senate’s conspiracy. Lucius and Tiberius voluntarily embrace in a dual-blood ritual that ends the imperial blood curse, shatters an ancient feud, and rewrites the fate of both peoples.
