In the 22nd-century city, a hidden group of metahumans exists. They look no different from ordinary people but possess extraordinary abilities such as telekinesis, spatial manipulation, and temperature control. Raven Cipher, the youngest genius chemist, joined the federal secret agency Chiral Key on a mysterious deep-sea island as a researcher at eighteen. At twenty-two, she developed a metahuman modification serum but was murdered and drowned at sea. She is reborn as a poor, useless college student whose original body had a huge sum of money yet starved to death in a rented room. The original owner's wealthy boyfriend, Ezra Kane, used both the relationship and money only to humiliate her. Raven immediately uses the fortune to buy luxury brands and book a seven-day luxury cruise. At payment, she is detected by Theron Kane, Ezra's uncle, the hidden power behind these industries. Theron thinks Raven and Ezra are mismatched and demands they break up. In their later interactions, Raven and Theron find they are kindred spirits and get together. Raven also uncovers everything and succeeds in revenge.
