Seventeen years ago, young technician Ethan, in order to adopt his deceased sister's daughter Mia, ruthlessly broke up with his beloved Sophia, letting her leave for Boston with the misunderstanding of betrayal. Years later, Sophia, now an executive in a corporation, reunites with the down-and-out worker Ethan, and they confront each other over a scholarship scandal. As old grudges, workplace conspiracies, and hidden truths burst forth one after another, they must once again choose each other between love, responsibility, and justice.
