Chloe, heiress to a top medical conglomerate, suffers three years of chronic poisoning at the hands of her husband Arthur and his personal assistant Lisa. She is disfigured, forced into the role of a "mental patient," and faces having her stem cells harvested alive to save their illegitimate child. Arthur lures Chloe to a snowy Aspen cabin, planning to force her to sign a share transfer, harvest her stem cells alive, and throw her body off a cliff to fake a suicide. A stomach spasm makes Chloe vomit the poison and unexpectedly wake up; she overhears the entire plot and is shocked to discover that her father's car accident was also caused by Arthur to seize power. Hunted and with the poison taking effect, she escapes barefoot into a minus-twenty-degree blizzard and begins her fight for survival. On the brink of death, she meets Victor, chairman of a hundred-billion-dollar Wall Street conglomerate. Using the half of a broken silver coin Chloe dropped, Victor recognizes her as the orphanage sister he has searched for twenty years! To protect Chloe, the two join forces for a desperate counterattack; they see through Daniel's scheme and publicly expose Arthur and Lisa's crimes before everyone, and the two are ultimately imprisoned. Chloe personally reclaims control of VEX Group and, under Victor's doting protection, returns to the pinnacle of power, completing her ultimate revenge.
