Goldie was never just a pet. She was the golden Burmese python Ethan gave Evelyn for their wedding anniversary — the living jewelry he said would always protect her. For five years, Evelyn believed it. She designed her jewelry beside Goldie’s glass wall, whispered her secrets to a creature only she understood, and defended her husband whenever anyone called his gift unusual. Then Goldie stopped eating. Ethan called it a seasonal mood. Evelyn called it illness. Her old friend Adrian, an exotic-animal veterinarian, calls it exactly what it is: predatory preparation. Goldie is not starving. Goldie is emptying her stomach to make room. And every night, she stretches against Evelyn’s sleeping body like a golden measuring tape — calculating whether her owner will fit inside her. But the real monster doesn’t have scales. Ethan cancels the emergency visit. He bribes the veterinarian. He promises to remove Goldie, then cuts the power and vanishes. Their smart home becomes a trap, the locks sealed from the outside, and Evelyn is left alone with the four-meter predator she raised from a baby. In the dark, she finally understands: her husband didn’t give her a pet. He gave her a weapon that looks like love. Now the glass is broken. The doors won’t open. And Goldie is no longer measuring. Can Evelyn survive the gift she spent five years calling family — or is her husband already counting her last breath? My Husband’s Deadly Gift — All 60 episodes now streaming.
