Kidnapped at twelve and sold to "Elysium Island"—a lawless zone where she endured seven years of inhumane torture—Evelyn narrowly escaped death to become NOVA, the leader of the world's premier assassin organization, "Black Star." She returned to high society masquerading as a frail, docile heiress who had fallen on hard times. While using the protection of Sebastian—the powerful head of the Wilson family—to conceal her true identity, she methodically orchestrated a comprehensive revenge campaign against those who had wronged her: the human trafficker who sold her; Victoria, the traitor who sold her out to buy her own freedom; Lina, the younger sister who stole both her academic achievements and her fiancé; and her own cold, heartless father. Yet, the leader of the "Dark Sun" underground empire—her sworn adversary known as "The Dominator"—turned out to be none other than Sebastian, her seemingly aloof and austere guardian. From mutual probing and life-or-death clashes to the revelation of the truth and a strategic alliance, the two sovereigns ultimately joined forces to embark on a new journey through the shadows.
