Vivienne, chief actuary for CloudJet Airlines, has been neglected by her husband Damian for three years, citing her "septate uterus causing severe bleeding during intercourse" as a reason. She was also forced to adopt Chloe, Damian's illegitimate daughter with his mistress, Serena. During a medical checkup, Vivienne unexpectedly discovers she is healthy and that Damian's true wife is actually Serena; she was merely used as a free babysitter and a tool for financial gain. Meanwhile, Vivienne realizes she is the sole heir to the Vane family fortune, inheriting 51% of Skylux Airlines' core shares. She decisively resigns from CloudJet and joins forces with Kaelen Sterling, head of Sterling Capital, to seek revenge. Kaelen remains devoted and marries Vivienne. Desperate, Damian and his family business face bankruptcy due to hedging failures and a broken cash flow, while Serena's conspiracy is exposed, leading to a falling out with Damian. Finally, when Serena committed the crime in the underground parking lot, Damian desperately discovered that Vivienne was the one who had saved him years ago, but it was too late. Vivienne eventually regained all her shares, while Damian was abandoned by everyone and left with nothing. Vivienne and Kaelen held a happy wedding.
