Fifteen years after King Cone destroyed Salem and enslaved him, Prince Lucien returns for revenge, taking Cone's daughter Danika as his slave and vowing to break her. But Danika refuses to surrender, and as rival kings and Lucien's jealous mistress threaten her, he finds himself protecting the woman he meant to punish. Revenge soon gives way to dangerous desire—and Lucien must choose between destroying Danika and becoming the very monster he hates.
