The protagonist, Nolan Miller, appears to be a "plaything" chosen by mob boss Marshall Graves, but he harbors a shocking secret—five years ago, his name was Vincent Morley, a boy Marshall took from an orphanage and doted on. Discovering Marshall's changing lovers, Vincent escaped but was involved in a serious car accident, disfiguring his face. After plastic surgery, he returned as Nolan, vowing revenge. Nolan successfully gets close to Marshall, gradually gaining his trust and infatuation through his similar temperament and habits to Vincent. Meanwhile, he teams up with Leo, a football player framed by Marshall, to steal the "black box" containing evidence of Marshall's crimes. After enduring imprisonment, torture, kidnapping, and gunfights, Nolan finally exposes Marshall's criminal network, leading to his disgrace and disappearance. Nolan also lets go of his past obsessions and begins a peaceful and happy new life with Leo.
