After a cruise ship disaster, Evelyn is betrayed by her ex-husband Hank and pushed into the deep sea by her vicious mother-in-law. She survives and drifts to a deserted island. Hank's entire family blindly trusts his mistress Chad, and not only eat raw seafood that makes them sick and dehydrated, but also ignore warnings about wild beasts and savages—and they drive Evelyn away.
