In a modern metropolis, Thea Valente is drugged by her stepmother, Margaret, and nearly handed over to an elderly man named Donovan. She manages to escape into a presidential suite at the Belmont Hotel, where she encounters Cassian—a billionaire CEO who has just been jilted by his fiancée, Seraphina. After a single night together, Cassian tracks her down and proposes a marriage of convenience. To protect the inheritance left by her mother, Isabel, and to break free from the control of her father, Wendell, and her stepmother’s family, Thea agrees to the union. What begins as a mutually beneficial arrangement gradually evolves into a genuine, loving partnership. Thea leverages her exceptional legal acumen to become the legal counsel for the Belmont Group, while also operating as a key figure within the mysterious organization known as "V." Meanwhile, Cassian systematically reclaims control of the conglomerate, dismantling the influence of his brother, Alan, and his former fiancée, Seraphina. Ultimately, when Thea’s stepmother’s family attempts to frame and kidnap her, Thea strikes back, and Cassian steps in to publicly defend his wife. The couple celebrates with a spectacular "wedding of the century" atop the Violet Hotel, marking a triumphant victory in their quest for revenge, professional success, and true love.
