In her first life, Nora Bennett is collared in a dog cage while Hailey auctions her in the Blackridge gym. "Twenty dollars buys one minute. Who wants the leash?" Students stream it. Teachers watch. Her father sees the cage and takes Hailey home instead. Then Nora wakes up eighteen again, one day before the auction. Hailey wants her ruined, and Ethan, Blackridge's rich hockey captain, sets the motel trap. This time, Nora raises her price, turns the camera on him, and collects proof. But when Hailey orders another dog cage, Nora is ready to choose who goes inside.
