Jake Graves, 42, a former top government agent, lives in seclusion after divorce and only visits his daughter occasionally. Lily, living with her mother Claire and stepfather, hasn’t spoken to Jake for six months. While interning as a reporter in Nuevo Valle on the US-Mexico border, she captures bloody footage of cartel La Sombra trafficking captives in an abandoned factory. Her cover blown, she is chased and kidnapped. In desperation, she calls her father via video, only for masked kidnapper Victor Cortes to sneer “Good luck” before cutting the feed. Jake retrieves his long-stored tactical gear and contacts old teammates: sharp combat sniper Maya Kroos and elite hacker Leo Chen. The trio sneaks into Nuevo Valle overnight. Leo’s dark web tracking leads them to a remote cartel warehouse. Jake storms in, taking down over a dozen gunmen, yet finds not Lily, but Isabella Reyes, a kidnapped tycoon’s daughter. Drawn to Jake’s grit, Isabella sparks an intimate bond with him while in hiding. Using her family’s intelligence network, she learns Lily has been sold to a crueler ring, Los Halcones. Jake destroys La Sombra boss Emilio Vargas’ underground casino alone, then raids Los Halcones’ fortified brothel with Maya. Captured broker Sofia Mendoza laughs bloodily: Lily was sent to warlord Ortega’s private estate as a doppelgänger of his late wife. With a 72-hour deadline, Jake activates his classified agent clearance and triggers cross-border security protocols. Armed helicopters and troops surround the estate. Donning night gear, Jake infiltrates silently, eliminating guards with CQC and suppressed weapons. In the final bedroom, Ortega holds Lily at gunpoint. Jake feigns surrender and disarms him in a split second. Lily rushes into her father’s arms. Finally, Jake and Lily mend their broken bond. The brave Isabella pursues him, and the hardened agent with a gentle heart finds lasting love.
