Jessica fell in love with Scott, the Alpha of the Ivan Pack. A painful misunderstanding tore them apart. Jessica left with a broken heart over what Scott brushed off as a "joke," while Scott, after receiving a cold breakup letter, was attacked by a stray wolf and slipped into a coma for a whole year. The two lost touch completely. Alone and helpless, Jessica gave birth to their daughter Jennifer and raised her on her own. Years later, Scott has become an Alpha wolf king with power and influence. To make a living, Jessica comes to him with crystal wolf grass, a rare herb that soothes werewolf emotions, hoping to strike a deal. When they meet again, Scott is consumed with jealousy over Daniel, the man by Jessica's side, and tries to force his way back into her life. What he doesn't know is that Jessica's daughter is his pup.
