After eight years on archaeological digs overseas, Ella Hart comes home to New York on a cargo ship: dusty, unrecognized, and the only granddaughter of billionaire Arthur Hart. On the docks, she runs into Chloe Grant, the glamorous fiancée her grandfather is about to propose to. Chloe takes one look at Ella, decides she’s a con artist, and makes her pay. Stripped of her ID, her grandmother’s necklace, and almost her life, Ella refuses to break. With Chloe days away from marrying into the Hart fortune, Ella has one goal: to make sure everyone sees who Chloe really is before it’s too late.
