Evelyn is the second daughter of the Hart family. Three years ago, after losing her sight in an eye injury, she stumbled into Damon Voss’s private suite while being tormented by her older sister Vanessa. Damon hails from the year 2300. He is Subject 001 of a future experimental project, and the only person in this era capable of wielding electric power. His uncontrolled ability harms anyone who draws near — except Evelyn, who can withstand his electricity unharmed and calm its surges. After an unexpected intimate encounter, Evelyn regains her eyesight and falls pregnant. Unable to prove the child’s paternity, she is cast out by the Hart family. She gives birth to Noah alone and raises him in poverty for three years. Noah has inherited Damon’s silver eyes, electric markings, and power over electricity, but his young body cannot bear the ability, leaving him suffering from constant ability backlash. A geomagnetic storm reconnects the energy wavelengths of father and son, leading Damon to finally track down Evelyn and Noah. When the Hart family harms Noah again, Damon publicly claims the boy as his own. Damon brings Evelyn and Noah back to the Voss estate, but tampered test samples yield a 0% paternity match result. Even so, he chooses to protect Noah. He gradually uncovers that Vanessa bribed the lab to falsify the paternity test, and also exposes the truth behind the old rumor that framed Evelyn as a homewrecker. As they live together, Damon and Evelyn are drawn to each other once more, and Damon proposes to her. Vanessa attempts to take Evelyn’s place using drugs once again, only to fail completely. Shortly after Evelyn confirms she is pregnant again, Adrian Cross, head of the experimental project from 2300, locks onto Damon’s timeline. He attempts to forcibly retrieve Subject 001 and take the two children who have inherited the ability. Damon once volunteered as a test subject to support his birth family. But faced with the chance to return to the future, escape his identity as a lab experiment, and become a “superhero”, he ultimately chooses Evelyn and Noah. The whole family joins forces to destroy the suppression system and the temporal retrieval device. Cross is swallowed by a time rift, and Noah gains hope of receiving a new ability stabilizer. Months later, Damon and Evelyn hold their wedding. The family of three welcomes their second child, who shows even stronger electric ability resonance.
