One wild night in Vegas, Evelyn wakes up married to the stranger beside her—who turns out to be her clinic's new CEO and a 300-year-old vampire. Forty-five days of secret marriage, rules made, lines crossed. He starves, loses control, and bites through his own hand rather than her throat. She gets slut-shamed as the "boss's wife," slaps him in public to prove she's nobody's puppet, and walks into a blood moon with a silver blade and a plan. Rival drugged, clinic hijacked, sunlight countdown running—she saves her enemy and sends her to prison. When day forty-five ends, she takes off the ring and makes him kneel again. His answer: "Today, I still choose you."
