After being transported into a novel, the heroine survives as a "misfortune absorber," saving the unlucky hero from an accident, only for him to think she's a schemer. She juggles multiple jobs to absorb bad luck, uses her healing skills to win over his grandfather, and fend off his doubts. She also sparks a chaotic, love-hate romance with the very man who won't trust her.
