Ethan, a renovation contractor, was abandoned and humiliated by his ex-girlfriend Grace. Around the same time, Evelyn, Chairwoman and CEO of Starry Sky Airlines, faced a crisis when her ex-boyfriend Zach cheated on her and refused to dissolve their arranged marriage. Under Evelyn’s forceful direction, the two had a whirlwind marriage. Grace began pursuing the new captain, Mateo, and while he was renovating his villa, she teamed up with him to humiliate and imprison Ethan. Evelyn arrives with Claire to rescue Ethan, who is suffering from heatstroke. She fires and punishes Mateo and Grace, then acquires the renovation company and hands it over to Ethan. Evelyn’s uncle, Landon, in an attempt to seize control of the company, forces Evelyn to divorce and colludes with Zach to set up a high-stakes bet involving the Royal Flight route, intending to seize her shares. Through Will and aviation industry figures such as Dallas, Cook, and Narciso, Ethan secured aircraft, loan guarantees, and route partnerships for Starry Sky Airlines, helping Evelyn weather the crisis. Landon and Zach arranged for Mateo to take Ethan’s place as second pilot; during the test flight, Mateo drugged Ethan and hijacked the plane in an attempt to sabotage the test. Evelyn coordinated with the control tower from aboard the plane. After Ethan regained consciousness, he subdued Mateo, but due to an injury to his arm, he asked Evelyn to assist with the controls. Ultimately, they piloted the plane into an emergency climb to avoid the mountain peak and made a safe emergency landing. Ethan publicly revealed his identity as the captain, and Landon, Zach, and Mateo were arrested. Following the incident, Ethan formally proposed to Evelyn.
