Phoebe, a young girl from the Rabbit Clan, was trying to raise funds for the crystals needed for a ritual to receive the Beast God’s blessing for her gravely ill grandmother when she was attacked by a stray beastman in the Black Forest and fell off a cliff. At the bottom of the cliff, in a lake, she unexpectedly mated with Sevian, the Golden Lion Prince, who was in heat. Afterward, Phoebe quietly left, only to discover she was pregnant with quintuplets. Sevian tracked Phoebe down using the soul mark of his destined mate, and the two entered into a contractual marriage for the sake of their children. As they spent time together, their feelings for one another gradually deepened, but this drew the attention of Camilla, the Snow Fox Duke’s adopted daughter, who was infatuated with Sevian and repeatedly tried to sabotage and frame them. Ultimately, Phoebe’s true identity is revealed—she is the long-lost biological daughter of the Duke of Snowfox and Sevian’s original betrothed. After overcoming countless obstacles, the two clear up all misunderstandings, reaffirm their love, and achieve a happy ending.
