Everyone's always told Nora to keep her head down and stay silent, but there's one exception — Vince Grant, her husband. As their contract marriage comes to an end after the best year of her life, Nora is faced with returning to her abusive family, who are already plotting to marry her off again. Always the calm, collected CEO, Vince finds himself desperate for a chance to win Nora over, even though she left him without looking back. He watches Nora shrink back into the shell he spent a year coaxing her out of, and decides enough is enough. Whether it's as the best "ex-husband" the world's ever seen, or Nora's real husband, with no contract between them, he'll protect her with everything he has.
