Luna, the adopted daughter of the Harrison family, endured three years of a cold, sexless marriage with Jasper, the heir to the Wayne consortium. When Jasper brought home Monica, the widow of his deceased friend, and allowed her to bully Luna, Luna’s heart finally died. She tricked Jasper into signing the divorce papers. At the same time, Ronan, her adoptive brother and a mafia don who had always harbored a pathological obsession with her, stepped in forcefully and claimed Luna as his own. Jasper finally saw Monica’s true face, regretted deeply, and even humbly knelt, begging for a second chance. In the end, he could only watch helplessly as his beloved wife put on the don’s wedding gown—and walked toward her own destruction, consumed by despair and regret.
