For three years, Mia Carter sold coffee, plasma, and her pride to keep her comatose boyfriend alive—never knowing Ethan Sterling was the secret heir to a colossal empire and the only son of a five-star general. When she brings him home for Thanksgiving, snobbish relatives mock him as a useless vegetable, and a thug named Ryan flaunts his Sterling Group connections to force Mia to walk away. When she refuses, he attempts assault. At that breaking point, Ethan's eyes snap open. With one call, his mother Victoria unleashes the full might of the Sterling dynasty. Ryan scrambles for military backup, but every last threat is crushed the moment General Alexander Sterling himself arrives and thunders, "That's my son." The villains are destroyed, Ethan kneels with a ring, and their extravagant wedding—blessed by elites and flooded with astronomical gifts—becomes the ultimate payback to every soul who dared to look down on her.
