"Three years ago, Anne, the daughter of a New York judge, forced a contract marriage with William, a Wall Street upstart, using the promise to drop a state court investigation as leverage. Now Anne’s father, John, has been reported and imprisoned. Faced with a million‑dollar bail, Anne turns to William for help, but he cancels her credit cards and instead publicly flaunts his affection for Ivy League socialite Eleanor in Manhattan. During a hospital checkup, Anne learns she is pregnant. She receives a call from her mother begging for money, but Anne says she has none. Her mother jumps from the 18th floor of the hospital. Heartbroken, Anne leaves New York while pregnant. Five years later, the two cross paths again during a billion‑dollar Wall Street merger deal. Anne now has a wealthy, handsome suitor, Arthur, pursuing her passionately. William, however, unexpectedly sees a child who strongly resembles him. The Wall Street tyrant completely loses control, using all his capital to cut off Anne’s business options and forcing a desperate campaign to win her back. Seeing her chances fading, the socialite pays a Bronx gang to kidnap Anne and her son. William abandons a signing ceremony, rushes through the streets, and takes a bullet for Anne. His son, Ethan, demands a father. Anne stares at the unconscious William, lost in thought. William’s mother, Julie, arrives at the hospital and claims that Ethan’s custody should belong to William. Anne agrees to temporarily entrust Ethan to William and Julie. As the socialite and her gang flee, she brutally murders Sam, the son of a now‑undercover Italian mafia member. To boost her own status, the socialite tells others that she is William’s wife and that Ethan is her and William’s son. In retaliation, the mafia kidnaps Ethan. Anne investigates the reason for the kidnapping, hands the socialite over to the mafia, rescues her son, and then flies to Europe."
