Lina’s husband Evan and her half‑sister Sophie carry on a long‑term affair; after their father catches them, they conspire to kill him, then drug Lina and push her off a cliff, staging the scene to look like a suicide driven by guilt. Lina is rescued by Noah and returns a year later, fully recovered. As she investigates layer by layer, the truths emerge—her father was poisoned, the will was forged, and her fall was orchestrated—and Evan and Sophie are finally sent to prison.
