The Bianchi family owes a huge debt to the Romano family, who demand their daughter as payment. To protect his sister Mia, Luca disguises himself as a woman and enters the Romano estate in her place. Dante, the Romano patriarch, sees through the disguise immediately—but keeps Luca by his side anyway. Using "auditing" as his entry point, Luca revitalizes the docks, exposes embezzlement, uncovers kickbacks, tracks a shadow organization, and solves a thirty-year-old debt trap and a murder. Dante shifts from suspicion to trust—from "I'll let you audit" to "you're mine." Through danger, wounds, and investigations, they slowly fall for each other.
