To the world, Stella is just an ordinary intern; in truth, she is CEO of tech giant Winters and the richest woman on Forbes. To vet her fiancé, she conceals her identity and joins Blackwell Media—only to be swept into a vortex of mistaken identity. There, Ivy, vain yet humble-born, is mistaken by supervisor Kevin for the CEO's fiancée thanks to a trench coat. Seizing the role, she bands together with Mia, Zoe, and Kevin to sabotage Stella, yet fails every time. Meanwhile, Blackwell's CEO Adrian—cold and reserved on the surface—is quietly drawn to Stella's competence and character, and keeps taking her side. To Stella, however, this "engaged yet flirting-with-the-intern" man is nothing but a two-timing scoundrel. When will this web of mistaken identity and mutual misunderstanding finally unravel?
