Sophia Vanderbilt, CEO of Vanderbilt Global Group, and Ethan Roth, CEO of Roth Group, came together through a strategic marriage alliance. They loved each other for three years. Their peaceful marriage is shattered by the arrival of a new assistant, Lacey Bennett—a young woman who bears an uncanny resemblance to Ethan's long-departed first love. Confronted with her husband's indecision, Sophia keeps her composure, sees through his heart, and makes the resolute choice to walk away—with grace and carrying his child. Ethan, now full of regret and desperately trying to win her back, can only watch as she and their son embark on a brand-new life, with no possibility of reconciliation ever again.
