Avery Vance, the true heiress, was swapped at birth and raised on a rural farm. In her past life, the imposter Serena used the mysterious Plunder Book to steal Avery’s beauty, talents, and fortune, ultimately pushing her off a rooftop to her death. Reborn on the day she returns to the Vance mansion, Avery seizes the Plunder Book and reverses its blood-bound contract. Shedding her former plain appearance, she transforms into a striking young woman, while Serena, deprived of the stolen life-force, gradually loses her beauty and vitality. At Saint Grace High, Avery makes a sensational entrance and captures the attention of Chase, the star quarterback. Though she initially uses him for revenge, Avery is slowly won over by his sincere affection. Desperate, Serena resorts to bribery, arson, theft, and sabotage. At the cheerleading competition, Avery wins with genuine strength, forcing Serena to publicly humiliate herself. Serena’s final attempt—framing Avery and sabotaging a chandelier—exposes her crimes. Arrested and driven mad as all stolen gifts boomerang back, she is confined to a psychiatric facility. Cleared of all slander, Avery reclaims her inheritance and becomes cheer captain. Chase confesses his love with a four-leaf-clover bracelet, and the pair walk hand-in-hand toward a bright future at the graduation dance.
