Sean Carter gave up his powerful family name to live as an ordinary DoD civilian analyst, hoping his wife Morgan Hayes loved him for who he was. But when he caught Evan Brooks assaulting her, Morgan protected Evan’s military future by giving false testimony and sending Sean into three years of punishment in Alaska. The day Sean returns, Morgan brings him straight to her wedding with Evan, humiliating him in front of everyone who thinks he is powerless. But Sean has one secret left: he is the son of General William Carter. When the truth comes out, Morgan and Evan finally learn that the man they destroyed is the one who can bring them down.
