College student Elodie signs a contract with Dominic, the head of the Styx Gang and CEO of Thorne Group, who has financially supported her family since childhood. In exchange for one hundred thousand US dollars to cover her seriously ill father’s medical bills, she agrees to be his lover. As they spend time together, they gradually develop feelings for each other. Vanessa, Dominic’s betrothed from his family, consumed by jealousy, pushes the pregnant Elodie down the stairs. Elodie lies about having miscarried and secretly keeps her baby. Pressured by his grandmother to uphold the arranged family marriage, Dominic stages a cruel breakup while secretly arranging to relocate her. Heartbroken by the misunderstanding, Elodie leaves far away. Nine years later, Elodie, now a designer, reunites with Dominic alongside her son Theo, hiding the boy’s true parentage. Plots hatched by former guardian Weston and Vanessa slowly come to light. After a kidnapping crisis and DNA confirmation, the nine-year misunderstanding is fully resolved. Vanessa is imprisoned. Dominic visits Elodie’s home to propose. The two hold a lawn wedding and live happily as a complete family.
