Genius astronomer Atticus discovers his socialite wife Evelyn celebrating in luxury hotels with her fitness trainer on the night of their fifth anniversary. For five years, Atticus sacrificed his prestigious astrophysics chair, washing dishes and managing household chores so Evelyn could build her luxury lifestyle. Without a single word of rage, Atticus signs the divorce papers, leaves the house keys on the counter, and permanently cuts all contact. He returns to the National Deep Space Institute, taking command of humanity's first interstellar observation array. When Evelyn discovers Atticus is gone, her business lines dry up as wealthy patrons who supported her solely out of respect for Atticus pull their funding. Desperate, Evelyn watches the live television broadcast showing Atticus receiving the Nobel Prize alongside world leaders. Rushing to the space center, will Evelyn win his heart back, or has the vanishing star departed forever?
