Maeve is a defective Omega with no Wolf Spirit, a slum scavenger who once trusted her toxic friend Faye, swallowed wolfsbane, lost her unborn child, and died in flames set by Knox’s noble first love, Blair. Reborn on the night Alpha King Knox seeks her as the cure to his dark curse, Maeve hears the fierce little voice of her unborn telepathic pup and finally makes the smart choice: accept the Moonstones, the black card, and her place inside the Pack House. With her pup warning her of every trap, Maeve trains, wins the Queen Mother’s heart, exposes Faye and Blair, proves her child is pureblood, and rises from rejected Omega to Luna Queen.
