When Tessa Reed reunites with Nathan Vance, she’s the humble contractor, while he stands tall as her arrogant client. It’s just like their college days: she pined for him silently, yet the cold, coveted campus heartthrob only had eyes for his perfect moonlight girl. As Nathan gets closer, Tessa falls for him again, until she hears him mock her as a poor girl he could never love. Heartbroken, Tessa walks away. Panicking, a tearful Nathan chases her into the rain to beg for her heart.
