In the werewolf realm, Aria, a she-wolf unable to shift, is won over by Alpha Kane’s five years of life-risking devotion. She risks her life to complete the Blood Awakening for their mating ceremony, only for her new Empathic Sense to uncover Kane’s year-long betrayal and his public contempt, dismissing her as a useless pet. Heartbroken, Aria orchestrates an elaborate revenge. She leaks his infidelity footage at the globally live-streamed ceremony, stages her own death as a final blow, and flees to England. There, she reunites with her biological parents, who lost her 26 years prior, and is reborn as Phoenix. She coldly rejects the remorseful Kane’s pursuit, finally breaking free from the shackles of betrayal to embrace her new life.
