In a werewolf-ruled city, human girl Lina keeps failing job interviews and catches her boyfriend cheating. One despondent night, she sleeps with the top Alpha Damian; later, he hires her to care for his daughter, Ivy. Damian finds he can only sleep when Lina is nearby, so he asks her to stay in his room each night. Damian's childhood friend Bianca accuses Lina of sleeping her way up and publicly humiliates her. Between class pressure and a fated bond, Lina insists on choosing for herself. Damian moves from restraint to respect and commitment, and they cross the divide of species and class to be together.
