On the eve of her wedding to Mafia don Dominic, Nora discovers a cruel truth: his love assessment labels her "safe enough to marry," while his first love is "a free bird meant to soar." She calls off the wedding and starts working as a war correspondent, determined to find Ethan—the man she once loved, Dominic's twin brother, and a humanitarian doctor thought dead three years ago. When Dominic follows her to the battlefield and begs her to return, Nora chooses freedom, love, and the stars instead.
