In Coral Sea Kingdom, black tails are seen as omens of disaster. Sera carries the primordial mermaid bloodline with a black-gold tail, yet she is blamed for bad luck. Adopted by three princes, she still suffers discrimination. When fake princess Livia returns, she frames Sera. Sera endures whipping, scale plucking and heart-blood extraction, then leaps into the sacrifice pool to contain the dark tide. After truth comes out, the royal family drowns in regret. They spend centuries gathering her scattered soul shards to revive her. Milo and his two companions, once saved by Sera, collect shards first and await her awakening in a fishing village. Sera wakes with amnesia and lives peacefully with them. Livia returns for revenge, forcing Sera’s memories back and trapping her in the sea of consciousness. Her kin sacrifice their most precious treasures to save her. Sera survives but refuses forgiveness. She marries Aiden, West Sea Prince who searched for her for centuries, and embraces a new life.
