Set in the Titan Age, God King Cronus has a lover Mera. Together they raise Mera’s son Karon, publicly naming Karon the designated heir to Olympus. The demigoddess Letone is nominally Cronus’ daughter. Her birth mother is an Ocean Nymph who was used and then abandoned by Cronus. Growing up, she endured indifference and oppression within the divine royal household. She formed an instant bond with Philora, the adopted daughter of the Ocean faction. Philora is a pawn of Oreos, the divided Ocean Lord. Though she possesses no true noble bloodline, she dares to risk everything for friendship. Storm beasts are conjured to attack the God King’s chariot in a premeditated plot. Letone is made the scapegoat for Mera and Karon’s power-grabbing scheme and suffers persecution. As death looms, the Hourglass of Destiny rewinds time, and Letone reawakens on the day the conspiracy began. Back at this fateful turning point, Letone refuses to be victimized again. She sees through the curse cast upon the divine chariot and tries to reveal the truth to the suspicious, self-serving Cronus. But Cronus is clouded by his fondness for Mera and favoritism toward Karon and will not accept Letone’s accusations. Letone makes a high-stakes gambit. She spreads rumors that the God King has fallen in battle, drawing Karon and his troops out to seize the throne. She arranges for Cronus to lie in a hero’s coffin and feign death, letting him hear Mera and Karon confess their full plan to murder the god king and usurp power. The conspiracy is exposed. Mera and Karon face judgment under the divine realm’s laws. Still, Cronus holds onto old affection and refuses to execute them. He only imprisons Mera in the Abyss of Oblivion and sentences Karon to corporal punishment and confinement. Unwilling to accept defeat, Mera and Karon secretly ally with Ocean Lord Oreos. Taking advantage of ocean unrest, they leak Letone’s battle intelligence and attempt to eliminate her through the ocean clans. During the battle, Captain of the Guards Keron stays behind to cover Letone’s escape and is badly injured. Letone barely survives. Mera’s faction creates illusionary visions to falsely accuse Letone of colluding with enemies. Only Keron’s miraculous return clears her name. Using the Oracle Mirror of Fate, Letone uncovers a devastating truth: Karon bears no blood relation to Cronus. This scandal threatens to ruin the God King’s prestige. To bury the family shame, Cronus resolves to kill. He sets a trap in a hidden chamber, severely injures Keron and Mera, and frames Letone for the heinous crime of kinslaying. Letone is forced into exile across the divine lands. While on the run, Philora risks her life time and again to shelter her. Letone also reunites with her birth mother Leka, who was supposed to have perished long ago. Leka commands the forces of the far-sea ocean tribes and reveals to Letone that she too is not Cronus’ blood daughter. With Leka’s stratagems and the help of Nia, the God King’s assassin who defected, Letone draws Cronus to the battleground amid giant ruins and personally ends his rule. Returning to the Olympus Council Hall, Letone crafts a public narrative to cover up the royal scandal. Grasping Olympus’ golden crown scepter, she climbs to the summit of power as the gods bow before her. All betrayals and wounds of the past become the foundation of who she is. Yet atop the throne, she carries scars from divine wars. Her bond with Philora will keep being tested amid the turbulent order of the divine realm.
