Bianca, heir to a criminal syndicate, marries Derek, a sanatorium owner, under an assumed identity to help him locate his long-lost birth mother Eleanor. Unexpectedly, within their own sanatorium, Bianca and Eleanor are humiliated and mistreated by Derek’s mistress Mina, who mistakes them for paupers. Mina has no idea who Bianca really is, nor that Eleanor is Derek’s birth mother. What she also fails to realize is that Bianca has the backing of Alexander, the wealthiest man in America, who has harbored a secret crush on her for a decade. Once all three secrets come to light, Bianca withdraws all her resources and takes down Derek and Mina using both underworld tactics and legal means.
