Mina was exploited by Andy in her past life, forced to become pregnant nineteen times only to miscarry again and again. In the end, she discovered she was merely a tool to provide placental medicine for Alice—and died tragically on the operating table. Reborn, she returns to the Thorn family banquet where Andy drugged her, determined to take revenge and change her fate. To escape Andy's control, she breaks into the room of the comatose Marlowe to neutralize the drug—and unexpectedly discovers she can hear Marlowe's inner thoughts. From then on, Mina devotes herself to awakening Marlowe. After Marlowe wakes, the two join forces and defeat all their enemies.
