On the eve of her due date, Evelyn is pushed into the deep waters of the Bermuda "Raven's Throat" by her husband Adrian and her best friend Serena. Clinging to a life buoy and an overturned dinghy, she struggles through sharks and storms, is carried by ocean currents to Fog Island, and gives birth alone in a sea cave. On the island, she reunites with her brother Leonard, who was presumed dead three years earlier, and exposes her husband's plot to seize 30% of Sinclair Industries' shares, murder her brother, and poison her parents. After being rescued, Evelyn uses capital as her weapon to launch a reverse takeover of the core assets and sends Adrian and Serena to prison. Sinclair Industries is rebuilt, and she walks out of the raging sea with her child, father, and brother.
