Natalie, the sole heiress of a prestigious old-money family, has been secretly married to Olden for three years. She is stunned to find her husband has signed her personal private jet over to Mia, a newly hired executive assistant. To make it even more outrageous, Mia publicly accuses Natalie of misusing the company’s corporate aircraft and demands the company hold her fully accountable. Olden knows perfectly well the jet is Natalie’s personal property. Yet not only does he refuse to defend or clear his wife’s name, he personally approves her suspension and orders her to repay the alleged improper costs. For Mia, Olden even hands her full authority over jet scheduling and the company’s core projects. It is at this moment that Natalie finally sees the truth — her husband of three secret years has long since chosen to side with another woman. Since he dared use her private jet to spoil his mistress, Natalie leaves him with just one cold line. Olden is still laughing smugly that same day — but the very next morning, he is kneeling outside her front door with red, bloodshot eyes, begging her to come back.
