A Phoenix Queen sacrifices her youth and power to save her husband and three sons—only to awaken fifteen years later as a penniless woman they refuse to recognize. Her future daughters-in-law brand her a liar, drown her beneath her own statue, and turn her sons against her, while her husband, the King, fights to keep her from touching the one Scepter that can prove who she really is.
