Emma is alone after her husband leaves on a mafia mission, trapped by a painful blocked milk duct and a crying baby. Then Dante Vella, her husband’s wounded mafia boss, breaks into her home, hiding from killers outside. To keep the baby quiet, Emma has no choice but to let him help relieve her most private pain. But his steady hands and dangerous closeness awaken feelings she should never have. When her husband suddenly video-calls, Dante stays just outside the frame, his hand moving from the ache he was supposed to soothe toward the shadow beneath her skirt. As her husband talks about hunting Dante for a bounty, Emma realizes the real danger is no longer outside the door.
