Seraphina Blackwood is forcibly bound by a system and forced to play the villainess in a novel—compelled to snatch the male lead who was never hers, bully the female lead, and neglect her husband. When the system unbinds and runs off, leaving her with a pile of messes, Seraphina realizes too late: according to the original plot, she will soon ruin her gentle second-male-lead husband with scandal—and freeze to death on the streets. To survive, she decides to reform her overly kind husband and personally teach him how to be a villain. But the more she teaches, the more something feels off—this man doesn't seem kind at all. His gentleness is a mask, his obedience a disguise, and every step he takes is part of a carefully laid trap—to pull her completely into his arms and never let go.
