Olivia was thrown away by Noah, her pureblood ex-husband, because she was not good enough for his bloodline. He blacklisted her. She lost everything. She ended up on the streets. Then she met Lucian, the wolf emperor, a man dying from a poison that no healer could cure. Her blood could save him. His power could save her. They made a deal: she would be his living antidote, and he would help her destroy the people who had ruined her. She moved into his palace. She healed him. He protected her. They fought Noah together. They fought his family together. They fought the venom that was killing Lucian. Along the way, the contract they signed became something neither of them expected. He stopped seeing her as a cure. She stopped seeing him as a weapon. When the poison was gone and the enemies were defeated, they tore up the contract. Not because it was over. Because they no longer needed it. They chose each other. Freely. Equally. Forever.
