After returning from overseas study, Helena Belmont witnesses her brother Chase’s fiancée Becca’s vicious and paranoid antics. Greedy for the Belmont family’s wealth, Becca and her family repeatedly provoke, frame, and harm Helena. Blinded by love, the soft-hearted Chase tolerates all her misdeeds. From fake terminal illness to win sympathy, drugging and plotting violence, to arson and kidnapping to seize the family inheritance, Becca’s crimes keep escalating. Having endured endless insults and dangers, the calm and decisive Helena finally gathers solid evidence. She exposes all Becca’s vicious schemes publicly, wakes her foolish brother, and brings the evil family to justice. Ultimately, Becca gets life imprisonment, and Helena officially takes over the family business.
