Mina’s wedding day turned chaotic when a beggar couple showed up, claiming to be her birth parents. They pretended to be destitute only to test Mina’s heart. In truth, they are the founders of the Thorne Group, sitting on massive wealth. Mina warmly accepts her parents in their ragged disguise, but her husband Marlowe constantly looks down on and mistreats them. The couple keeps their real identity hidden all this time. It is not until Mina divorces Marlowe that she marries Reese, the rich heir who stepped up to defend her in her hour of need.
