Dragon Queen Evelyn discovers her consort Cyril and handmaid Cecilia, both serpent-shifters, swapped her newborn with their son. She secretly raises her daughter Ann into a northern empire queen. After twenty years of silent endurance, Evelyn abdicates and is exiled. When Ann marries the impostor prince, the trap springs: identity reveal, economic ruin, and the arrival of Millennium Dragon Aurelius as Ann's true father. The betrayers lose everything while Evelyn reunites with her family.
